The Cattedrale di Palermo, the cathedral of the Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Palermo, is characterized by various architectural styles. Palazzo della Zisa, Zisa Castle was built in the 12th century. And finally, the Ponte dell’Ammiraglio, a bridge of 12 arches from the Norman period, near the Corso dei Mille.
Along the way we can meet many churches and museums, as well as sculptures and squares. Examples include the Antonio Salinas Archaeological Museum, where you can see many Etruscan, Carthage, Roman and Hellenistic monuments. But the Palazzina Cinese, where you can find the Ethnographic Museum, can also be interesting. There is a beautiful view of Piazza Pretoria, or Pretoria, where there is also a fountain. It also has two popular theaters: the Teatro Massimo, which opened in 1897, is the largest theater in Italy, famous for its acoustics. The other is the Teatro Politeama, which was built between 1867 and 1874.
